The Red Cross Bloodmobile will be at the State Farm Insurance building 800 Oak Street in Frederick on Monday April 18. Donor registration runs 10 a.m. to 3 30 p.m. All types needed especially O positive and negative. Those not affiliated with State Farm should park in the south lot. Donor eligibility requires health weight and age criteria. eight weeks between donations.

Middletown park master plan gains county approval
Frederick County Parks and Recreation Commission approved Middletown Community Park master plan with conditions for future site reservation, entrance and parking updates, and a phased build. No injuries reported in Md 355 accidents near Araby Road
Two crashes occurred in the northbound lane of Ur bana Pike Md 355 near Araby Road Friday afternoon with no injuries. Phyllis Patricia Franklin swerved to miss a halted car, backing her 1980 Ford Fairmont into a fence. Charles Bruce Oland slowed to avoid conflict, then was rear totaled by Joseph Richard Baker who was cited for failure to reduce speed.
