Education talk outlines aims for modern schools
Vice-president J Richard Ramsburg presided at Frederick High School for a discussion on Education for Our Times. The speaker urged intelligent ideas over blind faith, citing growth in enrollments since 1890 and the need to attract quality teachers while fostering personal social economic and civic development in students. Grayson Bowers was named Youth Affairs senate speaker and finance chair in a YMCA program led by Dr Hawkins.
