Easter Faithful Edna Reber Fights Time To Celebrate 102
Edna Reber marks her 102nd birthday on the eve of Easter while reflecting on a life of faith. In 1910 she dedicated her heart to Christ at a Phoenixville Methodist Church and later raised four children after her husband died in 1931. She taught at Gaithersburg High School, walked three miles daily with her daughter, and now sews bright patchwork squares with inspirational messages to share hope and resilience.
