County clears loan for Mt. Airy firm
In a 4-1 vote, Frederick County Commissioners approved final clearance for First National Bank of Maryland to issue a Mt. Airy Cold Storage loan of 2 million dollars tax exempt and state insured for expansion. MIDFA had backed the loan. Oliver H. Fulton assured the county it will be held harmless against any default. The fed sets limits on foreign beef imports.
