Officials tour city in wheelchairs
The Frederick Women's Civic Club held a wheelchair tour of Frederickon today with Maj. Charles V. Main Mayor Ronald N. Young and other officials taking part. The event aims to highlight handicapped needs by performing 15 errands drawn from a hat to experience architectural barriers firsthand. A May or June study will survey barrier designs as ramps and a barrier free parking deck are noted.

Tree limb kills Wolfsville man in accident
Wolford W. Wolfe aged 65 of Route 2 Myersville died Sunday at Washington County Hospital from head injuries after a tree limb broke from a standing tree and struck him and his son Zene while clearing poplars south of their home. Zene Wolfe was treated and released.
