Counties Draft Plans for Sewage by 1970 Conference Opens
Nearly 70 representatives from Frederick Carroll Montgomery and Howard counties heard that all Maryland counties must complete comprehensive sewage and water development plans by January 1 1970 funded with 11 million dollars this year. Thomas W Shrives of the State Health Dept explained the plans must cover all facilities and be prepared by counties or regional groups.

Teen-Age Road-E-O to Be Held April 24 in Frederick
About 50 high school students are expected to enter the 15th annual Teen-Age Safe Driving Road-E-O at Frederick Shopping Center starting at 1 pm. Contestants, chosen from written tests by driver education instructors, will drive a test course while two city police officers and two state troopers judge. Winners receive trophies and advance to the June 4 Baltimore state competition.

The Board of Election Supervisors office in Winchester Hall opens the next three Saturdays to register voters for the June 14 city election.
