Security For You Details of four health plans for federal workers
The Civil Service Commission outlined two of four health insurance options for federal employees, with Blue Cross Blue Shield and Aetna Life Insurance Co. plans described. Government pays part of premiums: $2.22 for self only, $6.76 for self and family, and $3.91 for self and family with a nondependent spouse. Plans vary by coverage levels and hospital day limits, with high and low cost options. The remaining two plans will be offered to union members or residents in areas with direct service groups.
