Group of 47 Homeless Arrive in Brunswick From Texas
A band of 47 men, traveling in a box car, reached Brunswick last Saturday claiming origin in San Antonio Texas. They said they came east via Cleveland after disbanding in St Louis and formed a new group led by Captain Primrose with a constitution and bylaws. They planned to go east for work and allowed members to leave when work found. They stopped for lunch and traveled on an afternoon train toward Washington. Arrested as vagrants in Anacostia they showed only $200 and denied Coxey's Army affiliation.
