County Studies 400 Auto Theatre Plea on Route 15
County commissioners consider rezoning five and a half acres at Orn dorff Road and Old U.S. 15 for a 300 to 400 car drive in theater costing about 25000 dollars. Applicant Charles E Wood says 10 to 12 workers would be hired and traffic impact minimal after late hours. State Roads official notes future access plans may affect the site while SRC does not oppose the rezoning. Two Emmitsburg residents back the project citing local employment needs.
