AT&T transfer protest by Maryland workers at Marriott data center
A small group of AT&T employees protested a planned transfer of technician Dave Weyant from the Marriott Frederick Data Center in Monrovia. The Communication Workers of America, with 700 Maryland members, says the move violates seniority. AT&T disputes the claim, noting the transfer is contract compliant. A grievance session ended without resolution and the union may escalate to the national level.
