Lay workers honored at Evangelical and Reformed convocation
Citations recognizing outstanding lay workers will be presented during a three day convocation at the college. Gen George C Marshall and Senator Margaret Chase Smith will speak. The awards will be announced at a church dinner April 20 with nominations from six synods and 20 recipients selected from the combined list. Calves and livestock sales also reported at Woodsboro Livestock Sales Inc with prices across cattle hogs and poultry. A soldier, 22, Frank Borkowski, was sentenced to up to seven years for shooting a woman who refused him a date.
