McDonald's and Hardee's Return to Classic Coke
Coca-Cola officials confirm McDonald's and Hardee's plan to switch from New Coke to Coca-Cola Classic will not affect the new formula’s market. Analyst Ben Crabtree doubts New Coke’s staying power. McDonald's, with about 7,000 restaurants, and Hardee's, 2,575, opt for the classic. Curtis says the move simply reflects preference, not a formula reversal.
