Two Brunswick men receive probation for battery and theft
In Frederick County District Court on Wednesday two Brunswick men were placed on probation before judgment for battery and property destruction after a Jan. 26 altercation at the Berlin Cafe. Paul E. Bury and Thomas R. Slifer Jr were fined and ordered to perform community service, with restitution to Officer Hane and the jail for damages. Other defendants included Shannon M. Jenkins who faced disorderly intoxication charges and Duane B. Shrewbridge who was placed on probation before judgment for theft by possession of music tapes.
