Century old water wheel mill thrives in Seaford
In Seaford Delaware Jake Moore runs Hearn and Rawlins Flour Mill using 19th century stone grinding with a water wheel and wooden chutes. The mill, on the National Register since 1978, produces flour and corn meal for local supermarkets and scrapple firms with limited expansion. A backup electric system exists for droughts and Moore plans to pass management to his son.
