A Linganore High School student, Michael Hann 17, was severely burned Tuesday morning in an agricultural mechanics class when a car gas tank exploded while a cutting torch was used. He was flown to the Francis Scott Key Burn Center in Baltimore, listed in critical condition with second and third degree burns over about 50 percent of his body.
