Dutrow remembered for Hood College library leadership
Katharine Dutrow long served Hood College as librarian and administrator shaping the Joseph Henry Apple Library. A Hood College alumna, she directed library services from 1950 to 1966 and helped form the Friends of the Hood College Library. She also taught, wrote local church histories, and held leadership roles in several scholarly associations. Funeral services are planned at Smith Fadeley Keeney & Basford Funeral Home in Frederick with interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to Hood College Library or the Evangelical United Church of Christ Student Scholarship Fund.
