Fire Destroys Adamstown Dairy Barn in Early Morning Blaze
A 50 by 80 foot bank barn on Manor Woods Road near Adamstown was destroyed when a tractor backfired igniting straw in a hay loft. Losses include one cow, the tractor, two tons of hay and straw. An adjoining shed also damaged. Fire, starting at 3 am, kept crews from three departments on site through 10:30 am. The barn was partially insured, per Renn.
