Maryland agriculture reports from March show the 1884 wheat crop average in quantity and above average in quality, with many bushels weighing 62 pounds. The crop total reached 8,260,000 bushels, and 2,247,600 remained on hand March 1, 1885. Corn prospects are mixed as little corn left the state. 1884 corn yielded 15,237,000 bushels with 6,247,170 remaining on hand March 1, 1885.
