Legislation Sought On Taxing Partial Completed Properties
A Board of County Commissioners spokesman said new legislation is sought to tax property that is completed after finality on a quarterly or semi annual basis. The aim is to capture tax revenue for properties finished mid year, especially those using public services. Montgomery County may already use this method and officials will approach county legislators. A shopping center not assessed for this year due to perceived incomplete finality prompted the push.
