Wallace Seeks Bristol Comeback At Valleydale 500
Wallace aims to rebound in the Valleydale 500 at Bristol International Raceway as he struggles to defend his Winston Cup title. After a seventh at Daytona and late-season setbacks including Atlanta and Darlington, he sits sixth in points, 168 behind Earnhardt who leads Shepherd by 78. Waltrip interesse and Earnhardt’s Bristol success loom large as qualifying began for the 30-car field ahead of the Sunday 1:10 p.m. EDT race televised by ESPN.
