Oratorical contest highlights Frederick Optimist Club
The Optimist Club of Frederick held its annual oratorical contest at Dan-Dee Restaurant with students from area towns competing for top honors. Winners included Brent Hilton 13 first. Chris Long 13 second. Matt Smith 12 third. David Berggren as Optimist president and contest chair. and 12 to 15 year old girls placing from 1st to 4th with names and addresses listed alongside parentage.
