FCC summer courses expand offerings and new regional board formed
The six week session at FCC includes 44 weekend hours in June and July with many courses scheduled Monday through Thursday. An 16 member governing board will oversee the new regional public body with eight county reps and a 33 member health care consumer/provider panel. Early learning concerns were raised about a potential FCC day care center with bids, leases, and standards to be ironed out by the board attorney and college officials. The Hood College program lists numerous daytime and self scheduled biology and education courses, while Langanore High School PTA wraps with a spring festival and band concert planned for April 12.
