Watchman Kills Robber in Moose Club Shooting
A Brunswick watchman and Navy veteran shot two Martinsburg suspects during a Moose Club robbery early today. George Pamey 24 and Donald Weir 16, both of Martinsburg, were involved in break in and theft. Pamey died at the scene and Weir was critically wounded. The shooter Robert Lee Hawes 21 of Brunswick was questioned after the incident. his revolver jammed during the escape attempt.

Casper E. Cline a prominent Frederick businessman died at 4:30 AM at the home of his son in law Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Webb 314 Rockwell Terrace after a lengthy illness He was 72 He had led a business career here for more than 50 years and suffered a cerebral hemorrhage at his Bradock Heights summer home last September He left behind a large civic and church involvement including Calvary Methodist Church Rotary Club and the Frederick County Hospital board He was married in 1893 to Minerva Frost and is survived by several daughters and a son including Mrs Ernest Webb and Mrs Hammond Clary in Frederick and Mrs Weaver in Washington DC.

Pennsy Train Derails Near Columbia City Injuring Forty
The Pennsylvania Railroad's Got ham Limited derailed near Columbia City Indiana at 12 12 a m injuring about 40 of 300 passengers. No fatalities were reported. Fifteen were taken to Fort Wayne hospitals and three or four were seriously hurt but expected to recover. The engine and 13 cars left the tracks. one Pullman overturned. Police witnessed the derailment and a burst of flame was seen from the locomotive.
