The State Armory hosts Frederick’s Eighth Annual Automobile Show with about four new design standard cars expected on display. Local dealers plan more placements this afternoon as Blue Melody Boys provide music. radios and novelties also featured. Organized by Captain Robert F Barrick and partners, extensive decorations by Edward Dietz and Ernst Pettingall aim to make this the city’s best auto show yet.

The Braddock Woman's Club will host Frederick county clubs Friday afternoon at 4 at the Mt Pleasant place. Home demonstrator Miss Elizabeth Ro Thompson leads a regular meeting where rural club topics are discussed. Martial law follows murder of two American merchants

Doll Sues for 15000 Damages Over Sidewalk Fall
Clifford H. Doll sues Frederick city officials and five defendants for 15000 alleging negligence caused a fall on a sidewalk. Iron girders and timber near the Muse Tailoring building allegedly projected onto the sidewalk, injuring Doll as he walked home on South Market Street.
