BWI controller error nearly caused collision
Linthicum Md Jan 10 nearly fatal air crash risk after a USAir commuter plane crossed the flight path of an oncoming small plane. The unidentified USAir pilot asked for clearance and the tower replied negative. The USAir jet veered, pulling up and passing 50 feet under the private aircraft. FAA records released under FOIA.
