South Frederick School Trampoline Show Highlights Students Skills
South Frederick Elementary School grades one through four demonstrated trampoline skills for teachers and parents in the gym on Friday March 26 at 3 p.m. The event showcased mounting bouncing stopping and safety as students progressed to routines. The program also offers hockey rhythm soccer and gymnastics after school with teachers Ruth B. Brown Jack Patterson and assistants Miss Martha Hiltner. Principal Nicholas C. Leakins and vice principals Howard Gilpin Albertine Baker oversee the program.

Problems On Aging Discussed At Montgomery College
A day long conference on problems facing the aging will be held April 8 at Montgomery College in Rockville. Dr William C Strasser president of Montgomery College will chair the regional meeting coordinating with delegates from Montgomery Howard and Frederick counties. Two hundred invited delegates from more than twenty organizations will discuss income health housing nutrition education employment retirement activities transportation and spiritual development. Deliberations will shape policy proposals due for a statewide conference in June with final recommendations presented at a closing session. public is invited to hear a summary at 3 pm in the Fine Arts Building on campus.
