Aerojet Wins $1.5 Million Contract For Mail Sorter
Aerojet General Corporation's industrial systems division in Frederick wins a $1.5 million Post Office contract to design and build a mechanized parcel sorting system for the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Postal Station in midtown Manhattan. The project, due for completion in late 1967, will use four levels of a 32 story building and five sorting networks with zip code keyed computers.
