Freeways savings methods and early revenue estimates described

A report outlines three methods to estimate freeway benefits: costs per mile, costs per minute, and user tax revenues. Using Los Angeles and Detroit studies, the two mileage and time-based approaches yield 2 cents and 4.16 cents per mile respectively, with time savings proving significant for many workers. The text also notes that drivers favor time savings over shorter distances and that fuel and tax revenues could cover initial costs in decades. Engaged notices and a church class meeting follow, detailing engagements and a Sunday School activity at Calvary Methodist Church.
