Frederick historian to discuss Life In Frederick 150 Years Ago
Carroll H. Hendrickson Jr. will speak at the Historical Society of Frederick County on Tuesday April 9 at 7 30 p m in Winchester Hall Frederick. His talk draws from James H Reid 1848 1851 diary detailing social life retailing in Frederick including the gentry barring details, travel to Baltimore Philadelphia and New York, and contacts with national figures. A post talk reception follows in the Historical Society building next to Winchester Hall. The program is open to the public.
