About 800 attended a winter close to Frederick Community Concerts at Frederick High School auditorium. Juana Graudan and Nikolai Graudan performed as a piano cello duo with a heavy program including Rachmaninoff Sonata in G minor opus 19, five piano solos, four cello solos, and encores Brahms Waltz Albeniz Tango Rimsky Korsakoff Flight of the Bumble Bee.

Montgomery Orders 300 Housing Units
The Montgomery County Commissioners ordered 300 housing units and 50 trailer units from the Federal Public Housing Authority for veterans and their families. They voted to request an additional 106 housing units as demand exceeds allocations. A FPHA site visit to Frederick for temporary housing was deferred to tomorrow morning amid road project approvals totaling 71,000 to augment last week's 375,000.

Wilbur R. Freeze of Thurmont was arrested Tuesday night on a warrant by Sheriff Horace Mr. Alexander for operating a gaming table. He posted a $500 bond before Magistrate William J. Stoner for a further hearing. A racing game device, said to be confiscated, was reported.
