Coolidge Wins Two Wisconsin Delegates in First District
In Wisconsin’s primary, two district delegates pledged to President Coolidge were elected in the first district with complete returns. Democratic delegates pledged to Governor Smith led Milwaukee over McAdoo by 5,293 votes with 21 precincts missing. Republican at large totals give La Follette 154,523 to Coolidge 69,342 from 1,161 of 2,474 precincts reporting.

Damages Sought From Railway After Collision in Baltimore
A $2,000 damage suit filed by W. A. Thayer of Baltimore against the Hagerstown and Frederick Railway Company alleges injuries from a November 22 collision at the Palvich and Jefferson streets intersection. Thayer, driving a Marmon coupe, claimed a trolley approaching from West Palrch street collided with his car, crushing it between a trolley and a telephone pole. The suit cites negligent operation and names Semines Gowon & Semines of Baltimore and Albay Mo Wood of the local city as counsel.
