Man jailed on assault charges in Frederick County
Frederick County man Darnell Blango, 19, of Walkersville, is held at the Frederick County Adult Detention Center on $50,000 bail facing robbery, assault with intent to rob, attempted carjacking, false imprisonment, two theft counts and battery. He allegedly assaulted a woman March 25 in a Carmack Jay's parking lot, claimed a gun, fled into woods after a hose was heard, with investigation ongoing.

Man to face Alabama parole charge in county court
Jimmy D. Fain a 44 year old Poolesville resident waived extradition in Frederick County District Court to face parole violation charges in Talladega Alabama. District Judge W Milner Roberts ordered no bail and gave Alabama authorities 27 days to extradite him. Also Judge Roberts released Terry J. Nichols on personal recognizance after he was charged with stealing a rental car in February and will participate in a work release program.
