State Police Investigate Auto Crashes
State Police investigated an accident at 12 30 a.m. Sunday sending two Gettysburg College students to Frederick Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. George C. Newman Jr. of Ithaca New York drove a 1961 Corvette when the right wheels slipped off the road causing loss of control. The car crossed to the left side and stopped. Newman and passenger William F. Baker of Massapequa New York were treated for a scalp laceration and back abrasions and released. Newman was charged with failing to keep to the right of center.
