Funeral set for Jacob L. Engelbrecht veteran Frederick printer
Funeral services for Jacob L. Engelbrecht, veteran News-Posit employee and longtime Frederick printer, will be Tuesday at 2 PM from M. R. Etchison and Son funeral home on Church Street. He died Sunday at his East Patrick Street home after a two month illness. Interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery. He was 73. Survivors include five children and one granddaughter. He began work October 17, 1889, contributing to The News and The Post and later The News. He was active in church and fraternal groups and once ran as Prohibition Party candidate. Flowers declined. Friends may call this afternoon after 4 PM.
