The Globe-Democrat reports a Missouri tale of a man using the alias A. B. Swift as a pseudo Baptist minister. He faced discovery when a poster linked him to a Kentucky wife and a planned second marriage. Four Baptist ministers confronted him on a night train in Pred yd on. He surrendered ordination papers and left the town. A Hazen broadcast says the church sent him away.

Construction Plans for New Hotel Announced
A proposed building slated for completion around January 15 1904 will feature twenty eight sleeping rooms an office 25 by 30 feet a dining room 20 by 45 feet a parlor on each floor three baths a large kitchen pantry and store room. It will include electric return annunciator long distance and local telephone electric and gas lighting laundry and servants apartments in the yard. The project aims to be highly convenient for commercial trade and applications are invited.
