P H Kazanjian veteran of World Wars I and II and former city councilman dies at Newport Hospital. He led Willow House on Shepard Avenue, son of John and Wart Kazanjian, educated at Rogers High School Brown University and Columbia. Funeral at Trinity Church Wednesday at 2 30 p m burial Island Cemetery with Canon Ballard officiating.
A Newport Preservation Society event opened a 1920s dress exhibit at The Elms with authentic costumes from Mrs. Cornelius Vanderbilt. Notable guests included Mrs. William Langley and Miss Lanet Auchincloss, while gowns by Balenciaga and designer-yarns were worn. The display runs daily at The Elms through early November.
