Capt William Thomas Nash assumed command of the Naval Supply Center in Building 2H this morning. He relieved Wendell McHenry Sr who became a rear admiral. McHenry will serve as deputy commander of the Military Traffic Management and Terminal Service in Washington. Rear Adm Robert Crutchfield, Naval Base Commander, spoke as guest. Lillian Phillips Bridge age 87 of 128 Peckham Ave Middletown died at home unexpectedly. Widow of John Bridge they ran Beaver Creek Camping Grounds at Mouse Head Lake Maine for 90 years. She belonged to RI Audubon Society New Smyrna Congregational Church and Coronado Beach Club. Born April 11 1685 in Swanville Maine, she leaves cousins Edith Barker and Raymond Peckham of Wickford.
