A seven year old, Delton Johnson, was struck at Sims and Fahey Streets at 10 15 am and treated for facial and arm cuts along with bruises. He was discharged from Naval Hospital after rescue but police continue to investigate. James K Behan of 8 Memorial Blvd had a funeral service at Sir Marys Church with Msgr Icht Shea officiating. Tug Removes Grounded Janet Off Collins Beach
The Janet, a commercial fishing vessel, ran aground Friday off Collins Beach on Ocean Drive. It was towed free at about 1:30 pm yesterday by a tug hired by the Coast Guard to move the Janet from the rocks at high tide. The Coast Guard and a commercial tug had previously attempted to move the vessel.

William Stanley Kaspar USN retired died in Charleston South Carolina May 2 at age 70. He operated W Stanley Kaspar Real Estate Agency for years after World War I era in Newport and later left. He was active in civic groups Nestford Dons Club Newport Lodge of Sikhs and Military Order of Foreign Wars. Born March 15 1902 in Worcester Massachusetts to Joseph Charles and Mary Kaspar. Survived by wife Berta Seymour Kaspar and daughter Mrs William H Burial with full military honors May 30 at National Cemetery in Byfort.
