South bound freight train No. 81 wrecked near Tuckerman injuring twelve cars, nine loaded including dynamite and other freight. Picnicers Return from Newport Visit After Railroad Mixup

Episcopalian Sunday School picnickers return Friday morning after missing their wagon due to a railroad misunderstanding. They enjoyed the stay in Batesville as hosts, with the Newport group calling the basket dinner the best yet. Mrs. J. E. Roseborough hosted an evening party for the young people, and many Batesville homes welcomed the guests along with a large list of attendees including Gustave Jones, J. L. Sells, Narcie Minor, Wm. Gregg, and others.

Bradford men held for trial on horse stealing

Preliminary examination of Harvey Osborn and J Edwards, arrested at Bradford, charged with horse stealing, was held before Justice Judien B Harria. They were bound over to the next term in 500 bail each. The bond was not yet posted at press time. attorney Love Grant expected to secure it, with J E Edwards signing for his son.
