At the Newberg W C T U annual meeting Olive Crumly was elected president and Mary Royce secretary. Other officers include Frankie Martin treasurer and Miss Lucy Broadbent, a British W T A lecturer, to speak next Friday at the Methodist church under the title Our Work Under the Southern Cross. The union meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays at Maria Bowerman’s home at 2 30 with all welcome. A collection will help cover her expenses.
