Unique program at Baptist Church opens October series
The Baptist church of Newberg launches an October program with a 5:30 social hour on Sundays followed by 6:00 light refreshments. At 6:30 a school of missions meets in four groups, ending with Rev. W. R. Jewell’s stereoptical lecture of about 75 slides. Attendance grows, and next Sunday's China lecture is touted as especially interesting.

Auto Turned Over Near Rex Hill Collision
A Ford sedan carrying Mr and Mrs Vin Vincent their son Belvin daughter Julia and two McMinnville youths overturned on Rex hill after attempting to pass oncoming traffic.
