Charles A. Morris a well known Newberg jeweler lies in St. Vincent hospital Portland in critical condition after a Terwilliger boulevard accident. His wife Mrs. Morris suffered fractured ribs but recovered enough to return to relatives in Portland. The Buick he recently sold to Ray Newby was wrecked beyond repair.

Mianda Bayley born in Clark County Ohio on May 6 1829 married Sidney Smith a pioneer from New York in 1846. She died October 4 1918 at age 89 in LaFayette Oregon survived by three daughters and numerous grandchildren. Buried in Masonic Cemetery LaFayette with Evangelical church rites.
