McMinnville Board Accepts Bond Sale Offer
The McMinnville School board closed a contract to dispose of bonds totaling 9 500 dollars authorized at the annual meeting. Sturris & Co of Chicago offered the preferred bid at par with 7 percent interest for twenty years and a ten year option. The second offer was 8 percent with a 100 dollar premium. Bonds transfer before December 1 and begin drawing interest then.
