Civil Action Brought Against Nelson and Smith
Last week in circuit court a civil action was filed against C. E. Nelson in the Willie Dodge case alleging that Dodge a weak minded man deeded his Kansas farm to Nelson under undue influence and that Nelson refused to reconvey when demanded on October 31. An injunction blocked Nelson from disposing of the property during the suit. A similar suit was started against L. M. Smith alleging he persuaded Dodge to deed the Belcher farm northwest of Newberg and then refused reconveyance.
