W. T. Anderson of Newberg pled guilty to shooting ducks after sunset near Burlington. He was fined $25 and his shotgun, hunting license, and ten ducks were confiscated by Deputy Game Wardens H. E. Meads and William Brown.
Isaac E. Holt was arrested on a non support charge in Seattle and brought before Judge Tatwell in Portland where he was released on his own recognizance after pleading not guilty. He said he came to Portland voluntarily to arrange care for his family. a warrant had been issued in his absence.
In the pastor's absence Rev W W Coffee and Rev W F Childs formerly of Southern Oregon will speak at eleven Sunday morning November fourteenth. Rev George Delamarter from Alberta Canada will speak in the evening at seven thirty.

An automobile driven by 8 W Stilwell five miles west of Newberg struck the eastbound train at the First Street crossing. The Stilwell family of five, including two young girls and a 6 year old, suffered minor injuries and bruises. The accident followed a runaway team that veered toward the confectionery on Main Street. no blame on the railroad. The car lost a wheel and windshield glass. horses were controlled shortly after.
