Pacific College Rolls Over McMinnville in Dual Meet
Pacific College defeated McMinnville College 82 to 44 in a Saturday dual meet. Wilfred Pemberton and Hodson led points while Macy, Clough, Kenworthy and others contributed. McMinnville took most second and third places and won the discus. The day featured spirited competition and a growing sense of fellowship between Yam Hill County schools. In later news, Rev. John Henry Douglas and his wife celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in Pasadena with widespread tributes and a large letter-giving reception at the Friends church.
