Pacific City to Host 4th of July Festivities and Outdoors Program
The 4th of July Committee promotes Pacific City as a premier Northwest outing site with equestrian feats, rope skipping, and globe acts by the DeKohis. The program includes lectures, concerts, instrumental and vocal solos, daily changes, a dance pavilion, and Brenner’s six piece orchestra. Visitors can enjoy a beach on one side and a navigable river on the other, with fishing, clamming, and scenic walks nearby. Camping facilities, a hotel, and tents are available but limited, so attendees are urged to bring camping gear and supplies.
