Pacific College Class of 1906 Graduation Portraits and Honors
The 1906 Pacific College commencement marked the largest graduating class yet in the Pacific Northwest denominational colleges, with fourteen graduates recognized for Bachelor of Arts and Science degrees. The ceremony featured Rev. W. H. Heppe as speaker, commendations for scholar Perry Macy, and musical interludes by Miss M Evelyn Hurley and Lillian Marr. The week included a student reception, alumni dinner, speeches, and class-day entertainments, with the baccalaureate and academic exercises highlighting "Gumption and Grit" and notable orations by Walter Miles, Eva Jane Pressnall, and Fred Holznagel.
