Obituary of Wm E Davis on Chehalem Mountain
The community mourns Wm E Davis who died May 19 at his Chehalem Mountain home from pneumonia and heart trouble. His wife Emily E Davis died about a month earlier, leaving two sons, their wives, and grandchildren. Davis, a 68-year-old Oregon settler since 1866, was a respected farmer and neighbor. Elder Skeels led the funeral as a large crowd attended.

Yearling Brindle Heifer to be Sold at Public Auction
The city marshal will sell a yearling brindle heifer with white feet a white tail tip and a white star on June 7 1904 at two oclock in the Newber city pound Yamhill County Oregon to the highest bidder. Deputy Geo Sykes and Marshal J J Woops notify the public after owner failed to claim the animal.
