Yearly Meeting of Friends Opens with Enthusiasm and Plans
The Yearly Meeting of Friends held in Oregon opened July 7 1903 with a 10 am session featuring praise and reports from Iowa California and other meetings. Epistles from our mother Yearly Meeting and Canada were read. Amos Kenworthy preached and several members were appointed to nominate standing committees. The Sabbath School reported 909 members and 443 average attendance with over 350 raised for the work.
